Marina Pittini is President of the Fondazione Pietro Pittini since March 2017....
Our foundation is targeted at the young and the more vulnerable and aims to emancipate them and develop their potential.
In collaboration with our partners, we offer a wide range of activities designed to boost each person’s educational, cultural and social development.
Our focus is on quality education, social innovation and sustainable growth for the community.
We are a not-for-profit organization founded by Cav. Andrea Pittini after the untimely death of his elder son, Pietro Pittini. Over the years we have supported the corporate community of the Pittini Group of steel companies. Cav. Andrea Pittini.
After the founder’s death in 2016, we transformed our organization, extending the foundation’s philanthropic activities to include a broader range of beneficiaries, particularly young people and children.
Since then, we have implemented and supported initiatives aimed at providing our youth with educational and occupational development, as well as social and cultural support, so they can gain the confidence and skills they need to pursue their life and financial goals. Our priority is to build a foundation of sustainability that maximizes social benefits for all.
The Pietro Pittini Foundation has been included in the Register of Legal Entities of the non profit sector since 2022.
Below is an extract of our statute:
“The object of the foundation is to honour the memory of Pietro Pittini by promoting and implementing initiatives aimed at improving economic, educational, occupational, social, cultural and public health conditions, giving priority to children, the young and the disadvantaged, by reasons of age or economic, social, family or physical handicaps.”
We believe in the merit and boldness of our youth, and in implementing innovative ideas in support of the less fortunate, so they can thrive and bring greater prosperity to their communities.
Our foundation is dedicated to exploring new models of welfare that put a premium on inclusiveness and constructive support; connecting the for-profit and the non-profit world we experiment new methods of strategic philanthropy.
We are dedicated to listening to the needs and to developing new action plans, aimed at maximizing social benefits.

Pietro Pittini Foundation is committed to promoting actions aimed at innovation and development, in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations Organization in 2015, which constitute the plan of action of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
Our organization has adopted three guidelines from the United Nation’s SDG’s, including: SDG 4 – Quality Education, Promote inclusive and efficient education and new learning experiences for all. SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, Attain economic growth by expanding work skills and reducing unemployment. SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, focus on technology, research and innovation: drivers that lift a community or a territory to a sustainable development.
