Marina is an entrepreneur and senior executive with more than 20 years combined experience across different sectors including philanthropy, financial services, management and the steel industry.
Marina takes a strong personal interest in social innovation and the promotion of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) amongst young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is what inspires her work every day as Chairman of Fondazione Pietro Pittini.
Prior to that she was CFO of Ferriere Nord Spa, of other subsidiaries, and board member of the main family owned steel companies. Marina’s earlier career included management roles with Pittini Group and an audit experience in KPMG. She was also Vice President for Confindustria Udine and President of Regional Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs.
Marina graduated from Ca’ Foscari University with an Economics degree. She also serves as board member of several financial institutions and manufacturing companies.
