Who we are
Sustainable philanthropy for a social impact
and the empowerment of the younger generations
Our foundation targets our most vulnerable population, our youth, and aims to emancipate them and develop their potential.
In collaboration with our partners, we offer a wide range of activities designed to boost each person’s educational, cultural and social development. Our strategic philanthropy approach endeavors to provide the best possible support for the community in order to maximize social benefit.
Our history
We are a not-for-profit organization founded by Cav. Andrea Pittini after the untimely death of his elder son, Pietro Pittini. Over the years we have supported the corporate community of the Pittini Group of steel companies.
After the founder’s death in 2016, we transformed our organization, extending the foundation’s philanthropic activities to include a broader range of beneficiaries, particularly young people and children.
Since then, we have implemented and supported initiatives aimed at providing our youth with educational and occupational development, as well as social and cultural support, so they can gain the confidence and skills they need to pursue their life and financial goals. Our priority is to build a foundation of sustainability that maximizes social benefits for all.
Our values
Our foundation is dedicated to exploring new models of welfare that put a premium on inclusiveness and constructive support.
We believe in the merit and boldness of our youth, and in implementing innovative ideas in support of the less fortunate, so they can thrive and bring greater prosperity to their communities.
We collaborate with partners in pursuit of fresh ideas that extend the range in which business culture and management skills can be applied in support of the most vulnerable. We are convinced that methodology, project accountability and the assessment of benefits are essential in developing effective measures, which is why we concentrate on identifying specific methods of strategic philanthropy aimed at maximizing social benefits.
We believe that charity, as an end in itself, is barren. Adequate funding is undoubtedly necessary, but must be combined with clearly defined goals and improvements that can be measured and sustained.
“EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY REQUIRES A LOT OF TIME AND CREATIVITY,
THE SAME KIND OF FOCUS AND SKILLS THAT BUILDING A BUSINESS REQUIRES”
